The father was kind enough to walk us to this hidden gem. We enjoyed...some traditional dishes lovingly prepared from old family recipes and a huge soufflé served with plums and delicious vanilla cream sauce. While there is adequate seating inside and outside at the entrance of the restaurant, we dined in the quaint courtyard in back. Thank you for the lovely afternoon!

Dinner was fine (Typical bavarian 6 bratwursts on cabbage, my wife had Baurengrostl), weizen beer excellent. Very friendly staff there as well. They had couple tables outside, small biergarden in the yard and very cozy...tables inside. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Portions are big.

The staff was very friendly and great with kids. The food was delicious and traditional. The experience couldn't have been better. I recommend the schweinebraten mit dunkelbiersoße und knödel (under Grandmother's recipes on the menu). The krautsalat that comes with it is also very fresh and tasty. The restaurant is well sized, stationed in the middle of Regensburg and quite affordable.
