Barrington - Rayleigh

From the moment we arrived, we experienced exceptional service and delightful conversation. The food was top-notch, and the cocktails were equally impressive. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary glass of wine when my partner mentioned that we were celebrating our jubilee. To top it all off, our waitress even drove us back to our guesthouse, which was 10 miles away, after our taxi failed to show up. We also requested a photo with her downstairs to capture the memory.

This restaurant has an incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere, along with excellent food and top-notch drinks. The staff is consistently polite and very attentive. The steaks are outstanding, just like the rest of the menu. We also enjoyed a wine tasting experience that was unforgettable! Mike was exceptional and made us feel truly special. We can’t wait to return. Thank you!

They consistently serve a great steak here, cooked exactly to our liking. We could have benefitted from a couple of cocktails to enhance the experience. Although there were time constraints during our visit, the delays in receiving our meal were a bit frustrating and took away from the overall experience. Nonetheless, we had a pleasant evening.

On Friday (opening times) in 3 o'clock and had the space for ourselves. three courses, all excellent, with great craft beer in doses as well. attentive, friendly waitress and great service. oh, and as we eat before 18 o'clock, we also have a 25% discount on our head. very pleasant experience and top brands. we will not be visiting our last!

Best burgers in Essex. I have stood by this statement for the last 4 years and nothing as of yet has convinced me otherwise. Barrington Grill is in the heart of Rayleigh, North end of the high street where the old ski shop used to be. The restaurant is very cozy but does not provide the best furniture, although recently have added cushions to provide comfort on the current hard chairs. Regardless of that, the food is AMAZING and that is why I and my family/friends continue to go there on a regular occasion. The main piece being the Barrington burger which is by far the best option in my opinion, although on the rare occasion a steak is a viable option. For any who enjoys a flavoursome and well prepared burger, I assure you will not be disappointed. The only negative comment I have of Barrington is that they recently stopped serving their delicious and thick milkshakes. For a great burger restaurant I really do think offering a tasty milkshake is what is missing.
