I loved the Texas sauce, while my husband was a fan of the Old Mule. The baked beans and potato salad from the menu were absolutely incredible! The restaurant was clean and inviting, and Henry was both cool and friendly. Since it was our first time here, we’re definitely planning to come back. Today, Kelsey was our server, and she was exceptionally friendly. Smiley's is sure to become our go-to spot whenever we pass through Virginia!

The staff are wonderf... read more Don't judge a book by its cover! Although Smiley's exterior may look a little unassuming, it’s undoubtedly the best bar I’ve ever been to. The staff are wonderful and attentive, making sure I always have a great experience. The bar is clean, well-stocked, and the bartenders are talented, capable of crafting any drink you want. I've never had a bad experience here, and the food is outstanding! Their BBQ is the best I’ve ever tasted, complemented perfectly by a fantastic selection of sides. I always recommend Smiley's because it truly is the top bar in the area!

I really enjoy their wide selection of beers, and the bar area is spacious, featuring several slot machines. The barbecue was delicious, and they had a great variety of sauces available. I particularly loved the broccoli and cheese casserole. The atmosphere is laid-back, and the restaurant is very clean. The staff provided excellent service during my visit. I will definitely return!

After 10 minutes, my order arrived, but I was astonished by what I received—cold wings without the drumsticks and celery that was nearly rotten. When I voiced my complaints about the food, the waiter was impolite and told me to leave the bar if I didn't like it.
