Best place for feed and supplies! The staff is all so friendly and helpful. They have gone above and beyond with some items and special ordered them for me. I usually go in but have had deliveries in the past and my hay was stacked perfect where I had asked them to without me even needing to be there. This is my go to place for all my animals supplies. What Carol T doesn't like about Ramona Feed Warehouse Inc:
Went there yesterday for 1st time because happened to be in Ramona. 1st question was are the menu's sanitized. Answer was yes. Sat by the kitchen output station. Menus were repeatedly taken out and replaced with no cleaning. Saw that tables were wiped with a rag taken out of a the same bucket repeatedly, same rag same liquid. Only table tops were wiped. No chairs or benches. Now the food--chicken fried steak was all... View all feedback.

This is now the third time we've called ahead to check if they have something in stock, and each time we've been told yes, only to arrive and find out they don’t have it. Given the rising price of gas, this is incredibly frustrating. It seems they check their system but don't actually verify the inventory. I've tried to support small businesses, but unfortunately, this one has lost my patronage!
In the past couple of years, the Livery has provided everything I've needed. The service is consistently friendly, and the prices are reasonable.
AN HONEST MISTAKE OR A DELIBERATE SCAM? If you ever decide to buy or sell anything on consignment from The Livery, the buyer will get screwed and the seller will get cheated. Make sure you check their math. They will cheat you. The Terms and Conditions for consignment agreement basically state that there will be a 30% charge above the asking price. That sounds simple. For example, you have a saddle that you want to sell for $350 and they tell you that is in your pocket , then they add the 30% making the total sale price $455. So far so good. But if they ask if you are willing to reduce the sell price, (well this is when it gets tricky). Say you agree to take $75 off your saddle price reducing the sell price of that saddle to $275.00 expecting to now get $275 in your pocket and then they add 30% commissions to that the new selling price should be $357.50, RIGHT? NO, they take the seventy-five dollars off the original sale price of $455 making the new selling price $380.00 then they subtract 30% off of that equaling $266.00 then Mike tells you, the seller will get a check $262.50. Are you following me here? Where did they get $262.50? Either way you are NOT getting the $275 you expected when you signed the contract- you just got CHEATED? And now the buyer is paying more and the seller is getting less- giving The Livery really a hefty profit of a lot more than 30%. It does not compute. So, I ask you, is it an honest mistake or a deliberate scam? CHECK THEIR MATH!!
A fantastic local store for all pet-related items, along with some fun little trinkets. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful!
