We were guests at the Velum restaurant at the beginning of November. We had made a reservation to celebrate my wife's birthday with a cozy dinner. When we made the reservation, this was taken into account immediately and flowers were prepared for that evening. The evening was wonderful, with attentive service and great food. We felt comfortable straight away. The family that runs this restaurant deserves special mention. Half a liter of wine/water and Pelinkovac were on the house. Thank you for that and thank you for organizing flowers for my wife. As a starter we had fish soup and mussels in tomato sauce. We were also served fresh/home-baked bread. Everything very tasty! For the main course we chose calamari fritti and a meat platter. We were actually full after the starter... The meat platter was garnished with homemade Ajvar and the best Djuvec rice ever. Another highlight is the regional olive oil on offer... The restaurant is also well received by the locals...so 5 stars. We can confidently recommend the restaurant. We'll be back. I haven't felt so comfortable and eaten so deliciously in a long time. You can clearly see that the whole family is involved in the operation of the restaurant and that is a recipe for success. Well done. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
