A pleasant surprise. I recently bought a voucher for 4 people we all enjoyed the meal immensely. The evening was off to a good start when the Red Wine included with the voucher was a Tasmanian Pinot Noir. We then sampled an array of delicious foods including Zucchini Fries, salt pepper calamari, Haloumi sweet potato salad Pork Belly. It was such an enjoyable experience that we booked again for next week. View all feedback.
What Marlee Kutch doesn't like about Brio Pyrmont:
came in a group of five, had some sangria to share and chose five dishes that felt a good amount. favorit dish was the chorizo pizza, generously delicious zupferde and a good crust. gnocchi and the Quinoa salad were average and ok to miss one. I do not recommend the truffleries, because we could not taste the truffles at all we came due to dimmi and I would only return if there was another promotion. View all feedback.
I had the pleasure of eating here tonight with a group of 9.
I have walked by Brio daily since it opened more than a year ago, and have now been there twice this week.
Easy parking and at a nice end of Harris Street. Food style? We discussed in our party of four - perhaps Mediterranean Oz crossover with a touch of sate. Salads are fresh and excellent, food is plentiful and interesting. A really nice setting for a casual dinner with friends. Recommended.
Went there in a group of 6 prior to a show at the Lyric a Theatre. It is quite small (maybe seats 40) with an emphasis on tapas style sharing of entrees and mains. We had 5 entrees and 4 mains. Food was great - for me the zucchini chips, gnocchi and cauliflower were the stand-outs. Everyone else also enjoyed the food. No-one had room for desserts so I can't comment on those. The total was $204 plus the wine that we brought (it is licensed and BYO, with a bottle shop a couple doors down the street).Location in Pyrmont is very close to the John Street light rail ...and it is an easy 10min walk to the Lyric Theatre (walking thru the Star's retail arcade).Very happy we found it (care of TripAdviser ).
Very nice food - don't miss their margherita - in a cozy place. Non expensive. I liked their service.
