The... read more Shopping at DFO Jindalee with New Moon Witch 77 and friend, just before lunch we needed a caffiene hit to keep us going. We decided to give this cafe a go! The interior is fresh and bright and reminds me of The Hampton style. We ordered coffee at the counter, plus a muffin and Caramel slice. It was another perfect Sunny warm winter day, so we sat outside. This place was busy! A carafe of water promptly came to our table and then the cakes and a small wait for the coffees. Yes, the coffee was strong, but either the beans were burnt or the milk was too hot scolding the beans. It had a distinctive burnt undertone. I finished my coffee, but @Newmoonwitch77 and friend left theirs unfinished. 2/5. I gave it another point for decor and service. Such a shame! Maybe it was a bad day, but with too many other places, coffee is one thing you have to get right.

I am curious at how a... read more Average food, average service, average setting. Went there for lunch with my mum and we both got the roasted pumpkin and beetroot salad. I am curious at how a salad with a sprinkling of feta and pumpkin can cost $17? The interior is ok, but lacking when it comes to the finer details. Stacked takeaway cups and lids in their plastic bags on display on one of the shelving units? Maybe move them beneath the coffee machine, it would look a little nicer. Cafe opens onto a carpark so if you sit outside you are on the footpath of the shopping strip, directly in front of parked cars. Seating inside is a mixture of wooden tables and old takeaway shop tables which is an odd looking mix. Maybe they are charging an eyewateringly high price for their food to raise money for new furniture? Only redeeming feature was the coffee.

I've also had their smashed avo and it's so good, fresh wholesome avo !
