This is THE place for typical desserts in Pucallpa, based on local fruits and flavors, chocolate, coffee and all other local stuff can be tasted at their best here, so, do yourself a favor and try it, though, it may be full as it is pretty popular, but, if you manage to find a seat, treat yourself and enjoy!
Try the cacao fettuccine! I 'm not a huge chocolate eater or chocolate fan, but I do love trying different foods. This is NOT chocolate spaghetti. If I would 've been blindfolded it would 've been hard to pinpoint what made it different, but it was excellent! The bolognese sauce was perfect. Also slightly different than I 've had before, but more from the perspective of the restaurant 's own style. (Note, they use small pieces of shredded beef rather than ground/minced meat. Anyway, this restaurant is a definite must visit whenever in Pucallpa!
Are you ready to have the best chocolate milk shake of your life? Then come get one at UKAW. Very nice place, classy and with excellent service and variety. Their cocoa products are all top quality. Chocolate bars with local fruit, or the sal de maras with cocoa nibs (my favorite). Cocktails and entrees made with amazon cocoa, cocoa infusion, cocoa nibs, and the very peculiar garrapiñados (roasted cocoa seed with powdered sugar) all top notch. Really really good place to enjoy delicious COCOA.
