I highly recommend giving this family-owned business a try, as it is clear that the people who work there care about their customers. While it may not be the cheapest option, the quality of the food makes it well worth the price.

However, recen... read more I have been a loyal customer of Balls restaurant for many years. Despite passing by my local fish and chip shop, I always chose to dine at Balls. However, recently I have been disappointed with the inconsistent quality of their food. The prices at Balls are higher than the competition, but I was willing to pay for the superior quality. Unfortunately, in the past two months, I have received both good and inedible meals. The fish was grey and made from poor quality fillets, while the chips were undercooked and starchy. I was so disappointed with the meal that I had to throw it away. I have decided not to return to Balls as I cannot justify the cost and do not want to risk receiving a subpar meal again. I should have returned the food, but I did not want to incur additional costs. I tried to address my concerns via email, but unfortunately, my complaint was ignored. There are now other restaurants that offer better and more consistent food options than Balls.
