I was very pleasantly surprised by the waiter who said (happily) yes I can accommodate. Very limited options but had a spicy soup and then spicy tofu with rice. Both were good, good portions and the wine was super. The waiter topped things for me. He was almost excited to accommodate and in a world where eyes are often rolled, it was very nice to have this genuinely warm welcome

When we got seated we were not given a menu and after a while of waiting we had to ask another table for their menu. It then took them 30 minutes to take our order and after almost an hour we only got our soup which had like one piece of Chicken in it when we had ordered other stuff too. The fact that it took so long to even get our food was unacceptable. We couldn’t even get anyone’s attention and no one would give us the time of day. I would NEVER recommend this to anyone.

And in my opinion the prices are pretty reasonable. We visited twice over two nights, both quite late. For whatever reason as soon as you pop into this brightly coloured store after dark, some strange undesirables pop up outside like moths to the flame. “Do you want cocaine?“ is the question, “no not really just a snickers bar and a coke, thanks for asking”. Someone once said Nothing good happens after 3am, I seriously think that this was the place they had in mind when they made that statement. Really useful, but someone sinister in the small hours.
