What Iris Esteves likes about Restaurante O Castello:
I visited three times in all on recommendation from my host in Tavira. I had rump steak with the extra Brazilian trimmings,it was beautifully flavoured.Second night I had huge garlic prawns, not enough veg accompanied. I was hungry later on.Last meal I opted for the strip sirloin and asked med rare. The cut was very thick so it was really a rare. What Jordi Domínguez doesn't like about Restaurante O Castello:
Didn't feel very welcome here by the owner. Food was decent but didn't seem good value for the price we paid, being 24 euros for two mains a salad and a can of soda. Seemed to be charged more than the menu stated too. There are lots of locals eating here though so maybe we just were unlucky on the day. View all feedback.
