Pilot Point Coffee
Pilot Point Coffee
Description
A warm, community-minded coffee house combines historic charm, art-lined walls and a lively events calendar — from karaoke and live music to painting and trivia nights. Friendly staff, board games, gluten-free and vegan pastries, sandwiches and a new cantina serving beer and wine make it a versatile hangout for families, students and locals. Drink quality can vary (too sweet or milky at times) and service is occasionally slow; breakfasts are considered pricey and furnishings show wear. Despite quirks, many return for the welcoming vibe and expertly pulled espresso.

If you happen to be in the area during Bonnie and Clyde Days, you'll experience a wonderful sense of community and genuine hospitality from this charming little business! I ordered a decaf latte with heavy cream and no foam (essentially a flat white), and it was absolutely delightful! It was rich, hot, and smooth, served with a friendly smile. There was quite a wait because of the festival weekend—apparently the busiest day for the coffee shop—but the staff kept everything moving along with their cheerful demeanor. The coffee is definitely worth the wait! We'll certainly return if we find ourselves in this area again. You can follow our adventures online at tent-on-wheels.blogspot.…
This is a fantastic spot that I'm glad to call my home base. The cozy, rustic brick atmosphere makes it inviting, and the artwork on the walls is amazing! They customize my coffee just the way I like it, and I never have to wait long, even though everything is made with care. I often order brews with a hint of peppermint. They also allow me to bring my own cup to help reduce waste. The chocolate chips in the cookies are perfectly distributed, and they serve the best pastries in town, all made from fresh dough.
It's a spacious and cozy place perfect for working or hanging out with friends.
I haven’t tried the food here, only the drinks. The atmosphere is calm and reminds me of an old shared office space. The wooden tables and chairs could really benefit from new upholstery. I’ve had the lattes, and they were just average. The milk-to-espresso balance feels off—too much milk. Every latte I’ve tried has the same problem. Next time, I’ll probably order something else and hope for a better experience.
