Description

Tucked into a grand, Melbourne-style dining room, this upmarket Italian serves fresh pasta, standout seafood and a generous weekend breakfast buffet alongside expertly calibrated coffee. Friendly, attentive staff elevate celebrations and set menus offer solid value; portions tend to be moderate and prices skew toward the premium. Service can fluctuate—there are warm, prompt moments and occasional slow, chaotic patches—and a few mains lack the memorable punch some diners seek. Overall, a beautifully appointed venue for dates, breakfasts and special occasions with reliably authentic flavours.

Lovely ambience, great tasting food and friendly, helpful and professional staff. Will come here again with the family. Oh! And the semifreddo was delicious!

A well appointed restaurant where you can enjoy a very real upmarket Italian experience on the plate. Have been several times and never disappointed. Cost reflects quality and value for money.

We had a dinner at here yesterday for celebrating our wedding anniversary. Foods were delicious and room was quite big and vibe was fantastic. Also, we were so touched by a service from a staff. He was so friendly and made our day. For sure, we will visit here again!

The pasta was incredibly fresh! We really enjoy the breakfast buffet here, as it features a variety of Italian delicacies instead of the usual international or American options.

Walking into Garum you are greeted with a grand, spacious interior with beautiful high ceilings a feeling that you may have been transported to a restaurant in Melbourne. Friendly staff promptly greeted seated us and we opted to try their 3 course ‘Love Italy’ menu. Started with the Vitello tonnato entree (ok), followed by Snapper on pearl couscous (delicious), and ending with a chocolate hazelnut torte (very nice). Hot, house made bread was included as well as a glass of wine and coffee/tea good value at $49 (do not expect big portions however). Good overall dining experience, will definitely be back to try their a la carte menu.
