Sooners Corner
Description
Nestled on a highway in small-town America, this owner-run diner serves homestyle, hand-made comfort food—breakfast all day, standout pies and cakes, a Sunday lunch buffet and notable steak-and-eggs. Warm, attentive staff and clean facilities create a cozy, welcoming stop for truckers, families and road-trippers. Prices and portion value occasionally divide opinion, but the genuine, home-cooked atmosphere keeps locals and travelers coming back.

The food was incredible! I was served by lovely and intelligent women. It was truly a fantastic experience that I plan to repeat whenever I can. I highly recommend trying the steak and eggs—it's the best steak I've ever had, and the service was even more exceptional!
Love this place! They say that truckers know the best places to eat and this must be high on the list. The staff is very friendly and the owner is very welcoming and loves to look around, but you can say that he takes care of his staff and customers and the quality of the food that is served. The food is quite typical of truckstop food, but I never had a bad meal there. Breakfast is available all day. If you ever come down this path on a Sunday afternoon, consider your lunch buffet, with the fork potter roasts and homemade cakes, you swear that your grandma is back in the kitchen cooking on Sunday dinner. I'm ready again!
If you are looking for the local hidden gem along the highway, this is it. It's a small town diner with an atmosphere to match. The servers are friendly and attentive, the bathrooms are clean, and pie is awesome. Pie and coffee is the way to go here, the food isn't much to write home about, but the pie is a different story.
During our trip from Oregon to Louisiana, we stopped at this charming diner for breakfast, and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious. I really enjoy visiting these small-town diners; they offer great quality at affordable prices.
