I took my parents to Popular restaurant for lunch today and the quality was just terrible. Paper thin defrosted picanha steak and a factory manipulated tuna, both served with mushy fries. What a shame. We’ve been eating great and honest food all over the country for the same price. I’m a well trained professional chef and I understand that food has just to be honest! Cost and product needs to have a balance, doesn’t matter how humble and how fancy a place is. And that was just sad! We were served an small plate of octopus salad as a couvert that we couldn’t finish in 3 of us, it tasted like it was sitting on the corner of the fridge for days. And we love octopus! I hope you guys take this seriously and upgrade your quality! The guest deserve that. Peniche needs that.

Staff were lovely too
