We love mutiny for the great food specialties and atmosphere, but our last visits were less than stellar. the appetizers were hot last night, but the cheese upstairs was sealed as he sat before delivery to our table. the burgers and the grilled chicken were all over cooked and carburized until we could not eat more than half the sandwiches. the charalat had what we thought was a strange piece rooted in it and we gave it up. the frits, both normal and sweet kartoffels, were plentiful, hot and crispy (excellent.) the drinks were excellent and the service was very good. we reported to the manager and she was apologetic. we will still go back to mutiny, only hope that this is a temporary problem that will soon be solved. we loved their weekend specialties and will continue to keep even more of them in the eye.
Mutiny always has specials that are different from other restaurants and they are always good
We ate on the patio, so noise wasn't a factor. We got there just before 6, our first visi, and happy hour ended at 6. Our server was prompt so we were able to take advantage of hh prices for the first round. I had the tuna poke bowl and there was a ton of tuna. I should have asked for Wasabi, bit I did not. I think it needed a little heat, but that's just KY preference. My husband had gumbo and was surprised by the amount of shrimp. Our only regret was that we did not order 2 servings of the hh mussels while they were available. It was a smaller than appetizer serving and 2 of them were empty, but the sauce was fabulous. I ate it like soup because the bread was gone. I'm pretty sure we will be back the next time I don't feel.like cooking
Have been here many times, however, this is the 2nd Anniversary dinner we have spent here. We have been married 44 years! Servers are always very attentive and helpful. Love the food!
First time visit. Drinks and appetizers very good. Pleasant on the outside patio.
Despite mixed reviews, Mutiny still shines as a top pick for date nights with excellent food and atmosphere. While some customers have experienced slow service and limited menu choices, the scallop dinner and washing specials continue to impress. The ambiance is quirky and enjoyable, with servers like Morgan providing attentive service. However, some have noted smaller menus and higher prices. Overall, Mutiny offers a pleasant dining experience with good food and drinks, making it a solid choice for a night out whether for a date or casual meal.

Nice brunch experience here. Small brunch menu but very tasty. Eggs were prepared very well and the Breakfast Bowl was a generous portion. My partner got the waffles and they excellent as well. Our server was very attentive and kind. I would visit again.
The PoBoy sub I ordered had just one shrimp and three fried oysters—I'm not joking. I also paid extra for chicken on my Caesar salad, which is typical, but there were only three tiny pieces of chicken in it. We even searched through the salad for more. We definitely won't be returning.
We ordered the jack chicken sandwich and the chicken didn’t have flavor at all. We also ordered the calypso fries and it looked like old crab dip was mixed in because some parts were brown and dried. The water tasted straight like tap water and even the soda tasted disgusting. The service was good.
Had a great time last night with friends. The restaurant was fairly empty the entire time we were there. We began with having our drinks outside on the small patio. I had a Key Lime Pie Crush and it was so good that I had a second one. My boyfriend had the Clover Club (Gin, raspberry syrup, egg whites, lemon juice) it was pretty as a picture and he enjoyed it. I don't care for gin, so I didn't try it. Our friends had the Watermelon Cilantro Mojito (Housemade watermelon cilantro rum, fresh lime juice, mint leaves, simple syrup, club soda) and the Rum Punch (dark and light rums, orange juice, pineapple juice, bitters, grenadine). It was starting to lightly drizzle as we finished our Scurvy nachos (typical chicken nachos. Slightly difficult to eat because the cheese stuck all the chips together, but worth the effort) so we moved inside for our entrees. I had the Bermuda Triangle Fish Tacos. The fish pieces were huge and fried perfectly, but I do wish that that had been more sauce or a salsa or something. My boyfriend loved them. He had the Captain Jack Chicken Sandwich (grilled chicken, bacon, roasted peppers, jack cheese, jalapeno mayo, tomato on a Brioche bun) which he really enjoyed, with a side steak. Yes, you read that right, you can add an 8oz steak to any sandwich, entree, salad, or burger. He said that it was cooked a little more than he would have liked, and the sauce certainly wasn't A1, but he ate the whole thing. That says it all. Friend 1 had the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. It was gorgeous. And she ate the whole thing, with chopsticks! I can't help but be impressed with people who can use chopsticks. I have a hard enough time with keeping food on a fork. Friend 2 had the Mutiny Fil A Deluxe Chicken Sandwich. Clean plates all around. Would recommend
Was recommended to try this Caribbean and Pirate style restaurant. It was a quiet early dinner. The service was awesome by Gabrielle. Was a happy hour so we enjoyed the mussels and nachos. Very tasty! Good drinks such as their and entrees such as gumbo, Cubano panini, Tuna poke bowl and a Peruvian chicken Cobb salad. Great food and well prepared! We go come back again soon.

Not quite sure on this one. Fish an chips large piece of of fish. Could have been crisper, thinking fryer not at temp. Fries good. Cuban....not a good choice. Wrong bread, too much bread, needs more inside. Sweet potato fries good. 12 taps and goodselection of cocktails. Thinking there are better choices especially for what I spent. I'm out
They accommodated us on a Sunday afternoon for a 21st Birthday celebration. Everything was great. The food, drinks and service were all well done! Thank you!
We were parents of the bride who called last minute to get a reservation for 20 people the night before wedding. Drinks were flowing and very good. Food also very good but it’s all about the service! From the welcome, the reserved area, a card andballoons for the bride. AND our amazing server, Morgan!! We loved her and asked her to attend the wedding the next night. Toobad she couldn’t do a last minute schedule change. She was phenomenal! Always there checking on us and filling our drinks.Awesome service. Thank you Morgan!
Food was great. Server was fantastic. However I was there for a large event and there were issues. We had this event planned out weeks in advance. Reservation was made for 15 people (we only wound up at 13). We found out after the fact that they onlyscheduled ONE SERVER, AND ONE COOK who were expected to handle not only our large reserved party, but the rest of therestaurant. Now for a normal Tuesday night that's probably fine, but they knew well in advance that we had a large party comingin and did NOTHING to prepare for it. We had people completely done with their food before others even got theirs. I didn't getmy APPETIZER until the guy next to me had finished his entire meal. Now I'll gladly go back without a large group, but I cannotrecommend even a reservation for a large group here.
Absolutely wonderful! Best crab dip Best cream of crab soup And extremely good gumbo I think I've found my new favorite restaurant!
