Chung Shing - Parrish
Chung Shing
Description
This Parrish takeout delivers fast, friendly counter service and several standout dishes — Singapore Mei Fun, sesame chicken and General Tso — praised for fresh, MSG-free flavors. Diners report uneven consistency: watery sauces, bland fried rice, missing sides and smaller portions at times, with some finding prices high. Convenient outdoor-mall location, rapid preparation and ample parking make it ideal for families and busy patrons, but remember it’s takeout-only and reliability can vary.

Completely awful. I would give it a negative 5 stars if I could. The staff were extremely rude, and the food was even worse—totally inedible. As for parking, it was a hassle.
The Singapore Mei Fun was delicious, but it was missing shrimp. The service was friendly, provided by two young men. However, I noticed that the prices have increased significantly. I also didn’t receive white rice with my sides. I wish there were more dining options in Parrish. The wonton soup was hit or miss; sometimes it tasted like water, while other times it was delicious.
This is the best Chinese food in the area, on both sides of the river. Nothing else comes close. However, I've noticed that the portion sizes have decreased recently.
