Akropolis - PALMYRA
Akropolis
Description
A hometown Greek‑tinged diner known for reliable, hearty comfort food—gyros, fish fry, clam chowder and a standout BBQ chicken sandwich—served all day with friendly, often attentive staff. Patrons praise takeout quality, reasonable prices, ample free parking and wheelchair access, making it family‑ and kid‑friendly. Drawbacks include uneven service, occasional portion/price disappointment and poor handling of gluten/dairy allergies; a few customers also raised staffing concerns. Overall it’s a cozy, welcoming spot for casual meals, though allergy‑sensitive diners should be cautious.

Went here for the 2nd time this evening.. I had the Broiled Seafood Platter my daughter had the Prime Rib. Everything was delicious. I was extremely impressed with the Haddock! Literally the Best Haddock I have ever had! When I order the seafood platter places I usually get it for everything but the haddock, as tho I like haddock I don’t usually love itHere I Absolutely Loved it! Was so incredibly flavorful cooked to absolute Perfection, as were the scallops shrimp! Highly Recommend! Their coleslaw is also my favorite in NY just like my grandma in south jersey use to make!
