The service was amazing even though we didn't speak Portuguese our waiter showed us pictures of the food and gave us recommendations which were on point ! If we are back in the area we would definitely come back.

He didn 't... read more We were looking for somewhere to have lunch in Ourem before visiting the castle. We happened upon this place and we were seated outside by the boss . He didn 't speak English and we don 't speak Portuguese so we communicated with my limited French. He explained the menu to us in French and we told him we were interested in seafood and fish they also serve many meat dishes . We enjoyed a tasty appetizer of a warm grilled portobello mushroom with cheese followed by a fish and prawn risotto type dish. Both were incredible. The main dish was served in a pot and stayed warm throughout the meal. The barman looked after our drinks and we enjoyed chatting with him. We sat in a lovely outdoor area under which was sheltered from the sun. The indoor space is nice as well--lots of character. Highly recommend
