The tartares were spectacular, but the real love affair was with the octopus sandwich, simply divine! We paired it all with an excellent wine. The prices were absolutely fair for the quality of the fish, and the service was quick and seamless.

The atmosphere and location are the strong points of Polperia (if they seat you at the tables with high stools overlooking the sea, they also have tables in the... read more The atmosphere and location are the strong points of Polperia (if they seat you at the tables with high stools overlooking the sea, they also have tables in the square and inside). The second strong point is the people who work there: fast service and kind and polite staff. They use disposable plates (thankfully not plastic). I found the neck of my glass bottle a little too dusty. In my opinion, the prices are a bit high given the quality of the ingredients.
