First she said no, because they are fully booked! Finally after we insisted we've got a table in shadow. Since we left, tables remain available! Food is very basic, fish was small in size and was frozen. The menu was restricted! Only a few dishes available! Prices are high for what they offer. No space at all between little tables a bit uncomfortable. No privacy at all. Not a nice experience! No dishes to recommend, better try other restaurants.

The week... read more Service can get slow when it starts to pick up (the waiters were still hustling, but maybe needed one more on the floor). The food and beer were great. The weekend lamb special with red wine sauce was delicious, as was the fish and chips. We also ended up going back another night for the pork chops and apple cake, which were also very good.

We ate outside because the weather was beautiful, but it's worth going inside and seeing the inside of the place.

Seemed very popular. Very quirky interior and outdoor seating, good wholesome local food and plenty of it. The staff were enthusiastic and fun. Worth a visit to nose around the flamboyant decor. Good selection of alcoholic beverages too !
