Contribute FeedbackThe new location of the restaurant on Church Street has received mixed reviews. Some diners were disappointed by slow service, incorrect orders, and high prices. Others enjoyed the food and event they attended. Despite some hiccups, the restaurant still offers a diverse menu and good cuisine, particularly the salmon and burgers. The new site has a good vibe, with reasonable drink prices. Overall, while some customers may have had negative experiences, others found it to be a decent spot to dine, especially for pre or post-event meals downtown.
We had a reservation for 6:15 and from the moment we were seated, it was a disappointing experience. The service was extremely slow, the restaurant ran out of certain dishes, and two out of the four entrees we ordered were incorrect. The manager never stopped by our table and overall, it was a negative experience.
This restaurant was unbelievably terrible. There were 60 guests and we couldn't even get a drink. The waitress was nice and apologetic, but the bar was extremely backed up. After waiting for 25 minutes, I went to the bar and was told there were many people ahead of me. The food finally came, and while some dishes were good, my steak was undercooked and the potatoes were raw. If you want a bad steak and poorly cooked potatoes, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, I suggest skipping it and trying somewhere else. This was the worst dining experience I've ever had.
The new location on Church Street has completely destroyed the atmosphere. The food was oily and some of us became sick after eating there. We have no intentions of returning.
Went there for dinner with my wife before Hamilton show. Had a reservation and though there were a few open tables, they set up a table for us right in front of the doorway on a chilly evening. We told them that was not going to work for us, and to theircredit, quickly got another table ready for us. Nothing special about the decor or ambiance, but nice enough. The food was verygood. Our appetizer of Brussel sprouts with bacon and goat cheese was delicious. The artichoke Ceasar salad was good, but friedartichokes had no flavor. Both of our entrees were delicious as well. My wife had the Barramundi (fish) and I had the shortribs, which reminded me of a Sunday home dinner. Real comfort food. Service was a bit slow, but our server Malia couldn't havebeen nicer and attentive. All in all, an enjoyable experience.
My friend and I are in town working a concert and we were craving chicken waffles. We saw that they had it on their online menu but when we got to the restaurant it dawned on us that it was from the breakfast menu. We left to look for breakfast andunbeknownst to us, The lovely hostess decided to go back to the kitchen and ask if they?d make it for us. In which they happilydid! My friend and I are so thankful for our lovely meal, and we wish we took a photo before we devoured our lovely breakfastfor dinner. Appreciate the hospitality so much! Edit: 10/22/2022 Came back again and the hostess remembered me! Anotheramazing brunch, yet again. Also I?ve been to at least 25, 30 countries and this restaurant is the closest to authentic Bedroomwaffles that I have tasted outside of Belgium and Denmark.
