Solid brewery with good food and beer~1886 brewing is located in orange circle, parking can be tricky since it's all street and can get very crowded. We came on a Saturday around noon and restaurant was not too full. There is indoor seating in the front and outdoor seating in the back. For drinks we got the IPA and Oktoberfest ale, both were super refreshing, the IPA is definitely a must get for a beer lover. For food we got the pretzel $13), ceviche $17), and the poutine $16).The poutine was the star of the show, it had generous amount of pork with gravy and cheese. It wasn't overly greasy and perfect for sharing! The ceviche was fresh but wasn't the best, it needed more salt. The pretzel was huge! It had a good salty outside crust, cheese sauce could have been better but overall solid.Very filling food and service was friendly and fast.Would love to try the sandwiches here my next visit!

3.5 stars rounded up. 1886 is a good brewery with some tasty food options, albeit with slower service. Upon a few visits here- the food standouts are the fish tacos, 1886 burger, and the beet and burrata salad. There is a nice rotating selection of 10-15 beers on tap with normally a couple solid west coast IPAs. They do lack Hazy IPAs here (apparently the owner hates them) but I question that logic given Brewery X and Radiant really crushing it in that regard. Service is spotty here and can get spottier given the weekend rush. But even given this, overall 1886 remains a solid option to stop at near Orange Circle.

I was really disappointed with my experience. I went to celebrate an anniversary, specifically drawn in by the $3 beer promotion advertised on the sign outside, which didn't specify any particular type. When I told the waitress I was interested in that offer, she let me order anything from the menu. It wasn't until I got the bill that I realized the prices were not as advertised; the $3 deal only applied to one specific beer that was neither mentioned nor discussed. My $9 tab quickly turned into $30, and they explained that it was my fault for not asking. However, the sign was not clear at all. I definitely won’t be returning.

The menu is excellent, and the happy hour specials are fantastic. The service was outstanding; we never felt rushed.
