It’s been 2 months since this happened And I am still so worked up about it, It’s made me so nervous when eating out with my son and has gave me awful anxiety.. Two months ago I was given what I was told a vegan pasty My son who has allergies ate half of the pasty before he started to have a severe allergic reaction where I had to drive him to a&e as fast as I could because he was screaming in pain. When I visited the store the next day I confronted the women who served me who went on to say she thought vegan And vegetarian were the same Thing and she didn’t realise how serious allergies were. WHEN ARE ALLERGIES GOING TO BE TOOK SERIOUSLY RETRAIN YOUR STAFF!!!! It’s a matter of life and death and you have careless people working with food. Absolutely shocking. MORE AWARENESS MORE NEEDS TO HAPPEN!!!!
Went today and found the member of staff serving me very ignorant and rude I felt like I was an inconvenience for her ..food was lovely though
This restaurant has been a lifeline for many locals during the COVID-19 pandemic as it remained open throughout. I don't like to use difficult times to judge, but this bakery offers good prices and I especially loved the custard slices.
This place is exactly what you would expect for the price - plenty of variety for just £1. Kids enjoy it, the staff is friendly and helpful. It's convenient for a quick meal while shopping, the food is always hot, and everything is fresh.
