I am visiting this area and I enjoyed this place the food was awesome the service was great they are very friendly people and the history in this building is a must see I'll be going back for sure ?
Like most reviewers, I have to mention that the food was quite good, especially considering the price. That's likely what most people are looking for when choosing a place to eat. However, there's more to this café than just the food. It's situated in a multi-purpose building that also houses a small museum dedicated to the local community. The south wall of the café is adorned with photos of local servicemen and women, dating back to World War I. While many of the individual items on display, like a newspaper clipping or a band uniform, may seem ordinary, together they create a fascinating glimpse into a significant part of American history as it unfolded in small towns over the last century and a half, with Oklee being one of them. I also enjoyed the fish sandwich — so much so that I had two!
