This place is amazing. Walking in it's a little shop full of unique Maine souvenirs. Many sweet and sour treats such as fudge and pickled items. Staff and food were above and beyond my expectations. Fresh baked bread, mile high layered homemade cakes, pies, and muffins. The chicken cranberry salad was a refreshing treat after a long day and the garlic bread was perfection! This is for the restaurant side. Small portions. And I mean small!! The price doesn't match the food. The taste? It was ok. Just ok. Avoid the hot turkey sandwich. One slice of bread is all you get with over cooked fries. View all feedback.
We are at the restaurant great food. Very busy. The fudge is the best!
Stop on the way for a quick lunch … met and exceeded our expectations … great food … lovely gift shop …
A must stop off when driving north or south on route 95 for home cooking at its best. Very clean. Friendly servers. I always go when I’m in the area. The desserts are all excellent. Special shout out to the raspberry pudding- not what I was expecting; so much better! I always get it if it’s available. Great gift shop for bread, fudge, Maine gear, and Maine maple syrup! And the whoopie pies are excellent.
First time at the Restaurant, didn't stay at the Inn. Was in the area on business. Food, service and atmosphere was good. Working on a FULL review. Great whoopie pies!
I haven't stayed at the hotel, but have visited many times for the restaurant. The service is always good and the employees are friendly. I highly recommend the turkey dinner, it's delicious! Good local spot for breakfast and conveniently located right off the highway. The gift shop is super cute packed with a variety of items and locally made products.
