Old Rail Brewing Co - Mandeville
Old Rail Brewing Co
Description
A neighborhood bar-turned-bistro on the Northshore revived under new management, offering a compact menu with standout dishes like parm‑crusted chicken, shrimp-and-grits, meat-and-cheese boards and a much-lauded burger. The drink program (drafts, bottles and creative Bloody Marys) is strong. Service is friendly but sometimes amateurish; fries and a few sandwiches can be inconsistent. Loud music and bar-focused service create a lively atmosphere—great for trail stops, pre-concert dinners and casual gatherings—though not ideal for quiet meals. Prices range from reasonable to premium.

The service was incredibly fast and the staff were very friendly. I took my first sip of my drink and my food arrived right away. It was delicious!
The menu is somewhat limited, and the prices are on the higher side. Unfortunately, the burgers and sandwiches lacked flavor. However, I must say that the appetizers were quite good.
I was thrilled to see the buffalo mac and cheese return to the menu! The food was absolutely delicious!
