McDonald's can often be spotted in smaller towns, but this specific location truly stands out. Compared to other franchises I've visited, their drive-thru service is exceptionally quick. I placed an unusual order for a filet of fish patties with cheese, tartar sauce, lettuce, onion, tomato, and pickles, but no bread. It’s my own version of a fish salad. The Lawrenceburg McDonald's got it mostly correct, but since the order did not come straight from the fryer, the cheese didn't melt. I drive 12 miles to reach my local McDonald's because the food is always fresh and hot. They don’t mind special orders like my hometown did, and their accuracy is about 97%, compared to the 50/50 I often experienced elsewhere. It’s definitely worth the drive when I get the craving!
