It is a beloved spot among locals.

They assured us they had a gluten-free menu and we placed our order, emphasizing the need for a gluten-free meal. When our food arrived, we asked multiple times to confirm it was gluten-free and were told that it was. Unfortunately, it turned out not to be gluten-free, despite our efforts to ensure it was safe for my brother, who has celiac disease. He became ill and has been sick all night. We did receive a refund, but it was disappointing and frustrating that the restaurant did not take proper precautions for someone with a serious allergy. This could have been a serious health issue if it had been a different allergy. We urge the restaurant to improve their procedures to prevent this from happening again.

New years eve meal with the wife , amazing , we love the food here , soup , ribs then duck followed by mains of lemon chicken and King prawn in schwean both wit... read more New years eve meal with the wife , amazing , we love the food here , soup , ribs then duck followed by mains of lemon chicken and King prawn in schwean both with rice , the food was served efficiently and we both left stuffed and happy , at £35 a head it was fantastic value and the staff are friendly and attentive can't wait to visit again during 2023

My food was good but the other... read more I'll give this place 2 out of 5 for a takeaway. The price I payed for 3 meals was so expensive, doesn't come with rice or chips. My food was good but the other 2 meals were bland with very big chunks of vegetables and ginger, the sauce had little flavour. Not sure how the eat in would be but we won't be going, very disappointed.
