Upon entering, I was seated immediately, al... read more Situated among a small row of shops, finding parking can be a bit challenging, but that's to be expected in Norfolk. Upon entering, I was seated immediately, although the food took a little while to arrive. However, once I tasted the Egusi, I completely forgot about the wait—it was absolutely incredible. There was just one waitress working, and despite being overwhelmed, she was wonderfully kind. I've tried both the fried chicken and the grilled chicken, and surprisingly, the grilled version is even better, though both are fantastic. Just thinking about it makes me crave more!

The restaurant itself is really beautiful and has an authentic African vibe, although it feels a bit limited. I truly enjoyed your food. After this experience, I just want to stay in Virginia!

First off the customer service is amazing. We were greeted nicely and sat immediately. The restaurant was clean, nice music and ambiance overall. Any questions about the menu were answered in detail. When we placed our order andfound out one item(samosas) were out afterwards, the manager apologized and offered an alternative. We ordered the fufu,cocoyam, chicken stew, egusi soup (chicken), spring rolls, bread , and mixed vegetables. Everything was flavorful, well seasoned, hot , and overall DELICIOUS. Like I have no complaints whatsoever. I was so happy eating because it was great and I’m gladit was. Definitely will be back to try out more food. (Pics are screenshot from a video)
