There have been lots of changes to t... read more We weren’t disappointed when we gave Bakers Bar a chance to reassure us of their high quality food standards at Christmas . There have been lots of changes to the Burriana Strip over the past few years restaurants coming and going and new faces to get used to, but we knew we couldn’t go badly wrong with Bakers restaurant. After all, we have been coming to Burriana Beach for over 20 years and have never been seriously disappointed with the food. Bakers is prtimarily a sports bar with several big screens showcasing the best of the UK premier league football games. So we felt quite comfortable in choosing Bakers for our Christmas lunch venue. We asked two of our best friends, living and working over here, to join us! We got there about 2pm and the kitchen was buzzing and sending out those lovely Christmassy smells. We were treated to a glass of pink Cava and then a super starter of prawn avocado cocktail. Then the main course of beautifully carved turkey, with roasted potatoes, with delicious parsnips and pigs in blankets. This was folllowed up with a delicious Christmas Puddinng (with either custard, cream or ice cream). Delicious!

We had... read more 3rd time holidaying in Nerja but our first time at Bakers, accidentally walked in here as we were so hot and in need of refreshments… what a lucky find! We had beers, sangria and the most delicious goats cheese caramelised onion croquettes drizzled in Frigiliana honey, superb! The chicken burger and fries also got a huge thumbs up. Staff were lovely and the waitress considerately placed us on a table near the air con and facing the tv screens so my husband could watch the football. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend this restaurant/bar.
