I remember that many years ago they actually... read more Conveniently located at the ground station of the Belalp sky-way, this is a place to go if you happen to be there. I remember that many years ago they actually tried to serve good food, but now they cater to the every needs of the person travelling through. The waiters are clearly part-time / seasonal; and possibly the cook, too. The interior is pretty nice, modernized, and yet off-the -shelf. The Walliser Teller as local dish, well, could have been much better, like in the Channa, in Brig, despite a similar price. The cheese fondue was okay, like most places else. Blatten, however, is not far enough off the track to warrant the prices demanded for the mediocre quality on offer.

Usually we had lunch at our stash, but we decided to eat at the bottom. I didn't admire food or service.
