Came for the pizza lunch. Tasty but orthodox Italian cuisine. The grilled sunchoke and farinata in the veggie platter were especially tasty, and the personal-sized pizzas allow couples to try more flavours. Nothing here would be amiss in an actual restaurant in Italy — for locals, it would be an excellent date night spot, but if one is on a short holiday, your mileage may vary on whether or not it is worth adding to your Japanese trip itinerary. Personally, I was wishing for a little bit more Japanese sensibility to give the restaurant a sense of place. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Wonderful. Saw this on the Michelin Guide. It's a small place seats 6. Closer to a private kitchen then restaurant. It's just the chef and your party! Everything is cooked in a wood oven which lends a smokey flavour. 7:courses. I really liked the veg course individual items like onion, root veg charred nicely. The hand made tagliatelle and roasted beef and the duck was particular memorable. Recommend reservations I DM via Instagram.
