First the place is beautifully decorated. Hostess was a bit rude. We didn?t have a reservation. Sat at the bar. Garett was amazing and guided us through the fabulous menu. Starters we had the trio, village salad and olives and feta. Definitelydelicious. The aromatics of the Octopus with the fried garlic slices, fresh dill and mint. We will Be back!!! We decided to try this restaurant after our first choice was closed, and we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely atmosphere and tasty food. However, we encountered some difficulty with the servers and their attitude. Thankfully, the manager stepped in, talked to us, and generously offered to cover our meal because of her behavior. Came here for my birthday was amazed, decided to come back 2 weeks later and I was beyond disappointed. The food was not great, chicken was not cooked through, octopus was very chewy, saganaki needed more fire time it didn’t taste right, the salad has mushy tomatoes the whole experience was not great. Our server Sereando A. Was nowhere to be found so we found ourselves ordering with the lady that refills the water, and another lady who wasn’t our serve. Also I specifically put it was a birthday celebration both times I was there and they did not acknowledge that at all so don’t waste your time putting what occasion you are celebrating.
The food and service were spectacular! maya was super friendly and gave me some great recommendations. i will go out of my way to eat at vasili’s anytime im in town.
