I could still chew a crumb as I was not exchanged... otherwise the coffee was black... a good point for the desserts on the other side.

To be fair, we arrived a little late for France (after 1.00) and it was fairly busy. It took forever for a waiter to even acknowledge our existence and we ordered sparkling water and were given plain. The food arrived reasonably quickly after our order was finally taken (it was a salad) but was very average compared to others we have had in France. The desserts looked nice.
