We always enjoy breakfast or brunch at IKEA, whether it is Murcia or Milton Keynes but this visit wasn't quite as good as usual. We had a little wait till being served (but not very long) however the first table we sat at both chairs were very wobbly, so we moved table. That table was also wobbly and moved when we put our food down! We should have tried a third one I guess, but we just wanted to eat!! I think the management really should check the tables and chairs on a regular basis.

Well, well, well, what’s happened to Ikea’s meatball meal.? The meatballs always came with a lovely creamy gravy/sauce, but now as I found to my horror on Friday, the gravy is now a watery tasteless disaster. The peas are a dirty shade of green mixed with a few green ones. No chips, my wife is not a fan of mashed potatoes so pays extra for chips (you used to be able to substitute) but we were told that the restaurant now doesn’t do chips at all. IKEA meatballs used to be a treat for us and always have them when we visit an IKEA store. Never again after this experience at IKEA Murcia

We visited Murcia shop the last week in May bought a bed to be delivered on 01 June to our new residence as our furniture would only arrive later. The delivery was spot on all perfect. I ordered online a second time delivered spot on. The 3rd purchase hold your breath!! also delivered spot on. The quality is excellent and to my liking and standard. The last order was a steel cupboard most beautiful piece of furniture. Ikea Murcia, you deserve 5 stars. Thank you.

It was the first cloudy day of my visit to Spain, so my cousin decided to take us to IKEA, because she needed some things for her new home (recently moved from the UK to Murcia with her job). We set off early, because she was nervous about the drive into Murcia. She navigated the 4 lane IKEA roundabout and we arrived safely. There was a huge free car park and if I am honest the layout of store was the same as the IKEA at Cardiff (familiarity is good). We spent a few hours upstairs looking around the displays, before heading to the cafe for a coffee cake The cafe was busy and there was a great selection of cakes and meals including meatballs and mash potato with gravy. The cafe was clean and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Having finished the coffee and cake we headed downstairs where my cousin bought bedding, candles, pictures, glass wear and a vase. We paid for the goods and popped into the IKEA supermarket, where my cousin bought some meatball ready meals and some chocolate and cakes We then popped into the snack bar where we ordered a hot dog, fries and a cola for €2. The food was piping hot and tasted fantastic The snack bar was immaculate and it was easy to order the food using the automated ordering system.
