Weinbau Familie Mayer - Mödling

Pleasant atmosphere, nicely maintained gastronomic garden, high selection of quality products to normal trips - what you want more:)

We were visiting perchtoldsdorf by friends and decided to go to the mayer. one could not bring big surprises to this small village somewhere on the warmer edge of the city, but we were very surprised! Apart from the foods the excellent tasted and the wine was a delight to us, that the staff were the jewels and made our stay enjoyable. as we were a bit too early to meet with our friends we only sat close to the entrance area in the garden and tried some achterl different wine varieties. we had first a young small to medium-sized man as a waiter who was friendly, quick and professional to the side. we learned about the sorts of royal, sylvaner and redgipfler every detail in all rest and that although everyone had to do the hands full. he was a routinée. the local was full! after that we set ourselves to the table that was reserved for us and were served by a beary two meter giants. without asking him, he brought us upholstery, which we accepted thankfully. the weinberatung was excellent and met our palate. the service very fast. and to crown it could also flow three or four languages!? a group of Americans and the waiter advised and took the entire order in perfect English. you could have mastered my English meanwhile without everyone but two more tables sat a few spaniers (or Latin Americans)? and also here in the perfect accent everything advised and recorded. how he was with us again and asked us in half-wienerisch if everything was in order we started laughing. it was a peak day at the mayer!

Good wine. excellent food.In particular I would like to highlight the uniquely tasty sour wort.

The heurige mayer in the center of perchtoldsdorf offers a variety of self-contained wines that are all recommended. There are excellent foods from the morning to the late evening - also lunchtime. the local has separate smoker and non-smoking areas as well as a beautiful, with wine-protected sun garden.

Das Restaurant bietet eine Auswahl an ausgezeichneten Weinen und leckerem kalten/warmen Essen. Die Portionen sind großzügig bemessen, also sollte man mit großem Hunger kommen! Der Gastgarten ist erstklassig.
