Description
Nestled between Goondiwindi and Brisbane lies a roadhouse that has garnered a mix of dissatisfaction and surprise among travelers. While it advertises itself as a 24-hour service station, many have found it closed well before the advertised hours, leading to frustration for those in need of fuel. Reports of grumpy customer service and cleanliness issues further compound the disappointment. However, recent management responses show a commitment to improvement. Visitors may be pleased to discover additional offerings, like cookware and Filipino snacks, hinting at a potential brighter future for this road stop, though caution is advised for those planning a visit.

The resort could have earned a 5-star rating if the restrooms weren't in such poor condition. I've rarely encountered something like this; it's absolutely unacceptable.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The restrooms are in desperate need of cleaning, and the smell is quite unpleasant. Unfortunately, this seems to be a recurring issue. The dining area frequently has flies buzzing around and is generally dirty and messy, even when it's not crowded. The paneling and trim on the interior walls are falling off or peeling, which gives the impression that the management doesn't care about maintaining the space. Since the new operators took over, the quality has noticeably declined. I used to visit regularly, but I won't be returning.
This place deserves less than one star. There’s a sign in the men’s restroom stating that women are not allowed to use it, yet there’s one women's toilet that is in such poor condition that the lid is on the floor. It’s absolutely disgusting. I'm disabled and struggled to manage. It's fine to have tables with amenities, but a proper toilet is essential.
