We would highly recommend and will definitely return.

I had the speciale pi... read more We had dinner at Ivan Frank's on our first night in Milan it was 5 minutes from our hotel and is right next to Lodi Tibb M3 Metro station. I had the speciale pizza which was easily in my top 5 pizzas of all time and my wife had the gnocchi alla sorentina we had a side of potatoes and a mixed salad. The food with drinks, including complimentary prosecco cost €60 incredible value!

My partner and I decided to dine at Ivan&Frank on our last evening before heading back home. We walked in at 22:10 and ordered within the first 5 min. The restaurant was quite, and only 3 tables were dining inside the restaurant. The food was well presented and portions were big however it lacked taste and the texture of the linguine wasn’t great either. Unfortunately, I sent most of it back. They claim that they use fresh ingredients but the oysters tasted like they were cooked from frozen. We were presented with our bill at the end and there was a 6€ charge for food we didn’t order. I presume it was for the bread and breadsticks they served at the start of the meal? I would’ve appreciated if they told us they’re not complimentary as we didn’t even touch them. On a more positive note, the service was great Overall, disappointing visit and it’s safe to say we won’t be back to this restaurant in the future.
