Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican - Midvale

This cafe rio is absolutely horrible. AVOID. The reason why cafe rio is so successful is because of the fast assembly line format. This cafe rio has a standard restaurant format where you put your order in on a kiosk and they have a few cooks preparing food in the back, which greatly slows the process. I ordered from the DRIVE THRU (which should be fast right? , they had me pull around to the other side of the building… I waited an hour for my food and only got it because I went in, spoke up about it, and one worker had to tell the cooks directly to do my order specifically. Everyone else waiting for their food (in a senseless area becuz there’s no where else to stand nor sit were waiting there for 45 min to over an hour. And they even got the order wrong!This is not the first time this has happened either. This system SIMPLY does NOT WORK. Plus, this cafe rio has gotten our order wrong on multiple occasions, probably because they have to read the screen instead of listen to the customer in real time as the line moves along. I’ll be writing a complaint to corporate to renovate this cafe rio so that the original format applies. I suggest you do so as well.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Go to a different location. Hire more employees!!!

This place has gone down hill. I just got the smallest burrito I’ve ever gotten from cafe Rio EVER. It hardly had any meat and tasted old. I had to drive back because they messed up my order. This is the last time I will be going there as they messed up my order the last 3 times I have gone. I feel ripped off by this last visit. Its very disappointing what had happened to this location.

Your employees at Café Rio in this town took a long time to make an order for two people. It was a steak burrito and a veggie salad. The burrito had about three to four pieces of meat, not enough for what it costs. We also ordered a side dressing and seles. I forgot to put it in the total order, we had to wait almost 25 minutes. Apart from that, they told me if I could park my car near a stop sign that is in front to attend to the next person, but there was no one behind me. I don't know why they told me. I had to park in front, it's supposed to be a drive truth, I'm really sorry but I won't be returning to this place.Vegetarian options: They took too long and forgot things I ordered

Horrible service, you get charged so much money for nothing. Little portions of food , not worth. Find a different location!!!
