The prices were reasonable and they had a great selection of cocktails and beers. The desserts were the best I've had in Middlesbrough!

The menu has shrank a bit over the years but there are seitan... read more V-Edge is the only evening opening all vegan restaurant in Middlesbrough (and possibly Teesside). The menu has shrank a bit over the years but there are seitan chicken burgers and smashed vegan beef burgers with various toppings. There is also a vegan parmo. The place itself is a vital addition to Middlesbrough. There are numerous cocktails, beers, teas and coffees alongside the vegan burgers. They also do regular themed quizzes with special menus. Brunch is available (pancakes, some breakfast sandwiches) on a weekend. The restaurant used to be open for lunch, but outside of brunch is largely just an evening place now. The atmosphere was great, the staff were lovely, and the food was delicious. It is a must-visit place if you are in the area. We can't wait to go back again.
