Thank you for a lovely lunch, wonderful pasty and sandwich, limited parking though . Coffee was great and strong. Very pleasant staff.
We enjoyed delicious, freshly made cakes and pastries at a cozy café next to an environmentally friendly shop where we also purchased some specialty bread. Parking was convenient and free. However, we experienced a longer wait than expected because of a large group upstairs, so it's a good idea to inquire about potential delays when placing your order. Despite the delay, the hardworking staff made sure everyone was served promptly.
A coworker went out to get lunch for our group, and I requested a jacket potato with tuna and cheese. However, when he returned with a small potato, minimal tuna, and a sprinkle of cheese, and charged me £6.50, I was shocked. I cannot believe they would charge such high prices for such a small portion. I will not be going back unless I come into a large sum of money and decide to start a diet.
I am thrilled that you are getting back up and running. I've had so many relaxed and friendly hours in the cafe with friends that I am looking forward to more accompanied by a fab nut roast and side salads fit for a queen. Airy and plenty of space (unlike other cafes that cram as many in as they can) so it feels very Covid safe even without have to make big changes.
We found this little place by chance and were really impressed. properer selection of health foods and lots of great local produce. We will definitely be back
