Contribute Feedback What Vett B Franklin likes about Big Country Truck Stop:
I stopped to fill up on gas and pick up a few items before heading home after visiting family. The cashier let me know that I could get a discount on gas by entering my phone number, but unfortunately, the discount is not valid in the DFW area. View all feedback.
What Tim Lancaster doesn't like about Big Country Truck Stop:
Another decent restaurant has closed down. The building has been torn down and now there is a larger store next door where the truck stop used to be, making it appear as if the truck stop never existed. View all feedback.
I look like myself, homeless. they were kind and gracious for me. I would definitely recommend to stop here for gas, snacks and rest. it looks like a mom and pop art of place and I think it could be, but it has something that the more modern place does not. it has heart. they take care of the local and the traveling as if they were all friends.
Employees don't care... Sure that's why the restaurant didn't make it!
This place is old and decrepit. There is no longer a restaurant it it just a convenience store with a big empty wing. The parking lot is all potholes. There are gas pumps for truckers and cars too but the place itself is beyond revival. It needs to be bulldozed this is prime real estate for an actual truck stop, Love's or Buccee's or something fresh and useful.
