I asked my daughter, a former bartender, to try it, an... read more We ordered a family-style salad, and when my Cosmo arrived, it tasted overwhelmingly like straight vodka. I asked my daughter, a former bartender, to try it, and she did not like it at all. I requested that the server take it back, and I switched to a tropical drink, which was much better. The Bruschetta appetizer was quite underwhelming—just some tomatoes with a sprinkle of cheese. However, the salad was excellent, with a particularly tasty balsamic dressing, and we appreciated that we could get a refill. There were also cheese and crackers available, and the cheddar cheese was wonderfully crumbly and delicious. The server brought out freshly baked biscuits that were the softest, most scrumptious biscuits I've ever had. When the Chicken Pot Pies arrived, they were topped with a biscuit crust. The filling was lovely, although I didn’t realize there would be mashed potatoes at the bottom of the pot pie. Overall, it was quite enjoyable.

The staff is friendly, and they feature a nice variety of locally brewed beers and wines. The food is tasty, and the portions are generous.

My other daughter ordered the mac and cheese without the breadcrumbs, accomp... read more My daughter enjoyed her chicken tenders and fries, which I found to be quite tasty. My other daughter ordered the mac and cheese without the breadcrumbs, accompanied by a side of green beans and carrots. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, but the mac and cheese fell short on flavor. I had to add butter to enhance the taste, and I believe it would have been better with a different cheese that wasn't so grainy. I ended up finishing it for her. I ordered the nachos, which I would rate a solid 4 out of 5. My husband had the steak tips with sweet potato hash browns, and he absolutely loved it. The biscuits served at the table were incredibly delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed them! Overall, I'm giving the restaurant a 4 out of 5 (I'd give it a 4.5 if I could) because my only two disappointments were the mac and cheese and the nachos; everything else was delightful. I can definitely see us returning for lunch instead of dinner next time. Oh, and the Farmland lemonade was fantastic! I had two and would have happily had more! Yum!

If you are a history buff, Camp is pretty close to the site of the long ago Chase's Towne House Restaurant, a once Meredith icon.

After such an awesome visit in 2019, we're back with the whole family. Everyone absolutely loved their meals and the staff was so friendly. My new favorite is the Campfire Steak but my brother ordered what I did last visit and it looked even better than I remembered! Very affordable prices compared to other spots we visited nearby. Indoor only seating is their only downside, but the summer camp decor makes it worth it!
