Everything was good at the first visit. Very cozy. Add delicious tree cake to coffee and a large slice of onion cake. All this combined with great weather, invites you to relax. Sure. Very recommended View all feedback.
What Friedrich Predovic doesn't like about Konditorei Zieger:
apart from the service, which is unusually rude and incompetent (you get tassen where the half of the content is on the outside of the cup and on the saucer, broken cakes without tip), the sold were a catastrophe: the cake, not with fresh fruit, but have been filtering out the speziness of the house, the mesek Nowhere is the price-performance ratio less true. This year we visited the Meißner Christmas Market for the first time. Such visits almost inevitably also lead to the fact that we get really neat appetite for a coffee with a piece of cake tort sticks. The Café Ziegler with the connected bakery and confectionery was then also on the way by chance. What are we gonna do? We had no choice. I was the youngest in the round, so I could quickly climb the few steps and risk a look inside as a family spur. Mutti warned us that for years she knew the reputation and popularity of the Meißner Café. She should be right, it was tight, damn tight with seats. But why shouldn't you be lucky too, because when I turn off, a family was up. So I could, for as the only guest who looked out without haste and totally free from violence, conquer the table. In the meantime, the rest of the family stood on the vault and grunted what a culinary delight on its plate should be intended for consumption. This is also bad in Saxon cafes, so a wide selection of great delicacies. For us a piece of mansion, a piece of chocolate cake, a piece of poppy cake and a piece of marzipan cake were presented. I'd rather have tried all the cakes and cakes, but I wouldn't have eaten for two weeks.... And how delicious the cakes were must be enough to prove that there are no more crumbs. The added coffee then tasted really good. Then half a almond salad and a poppy cake had to believe not to eat here, but at home. We have made him right so that faith can become the truth, in the case of a really tasty truth. By the way, there is a true story about the famous “Meißner Fummel”, a delicate, slightly fragile pastries that should have arrived around 1710. The courier of Friedrich August I of Saxony, who was better known to us as August the Strong, was the wine Meißner before or on his loop between Meissen and Dresden. This was not confirmed by the Saxon Kurfürsten. Since he called for a list to stop him without a ban. He read the bakery tonnage to produce a slightly fragile pastries. At the same time, the courier had to bring this to the Kurfürsten... The Fummel was “born”. I do not really believe in a list, but in the power of the ruler. Due to its fragility, it is also not sent because the likelihood to deliver it in principle without prejudice to the customer strives against zero ‰. By the way, the speciality of the “Meißner Fummel” cult bakery is a product protected by German trademark law and thus also a protected name! but no one should stop giving him away anyway, just more personal with pickup. A special feature of the Zieger confectionery is to bake a suitable product H5cm x B8cm x T8cm in a fummel at an additional price. The only prerequisite here is that the baking process is heat-resistant enough to survive without prejudice to the baking process. A great idea, right? Yes and now, nothing like going and watching if there's something to bake... And please don't let the bad events last night from the Berlin Breitscheidplatz keep the Christmas mood. For this sad occasion, today I have finished my assessment in silent memory of the victims and their families and wish them a lot of strength and strength.
Our first visit to the Meißner Christmas market at all also led to the fact that we got really decent appetite for a piece of cake cake cake. Then, by chance, Café Ziegler was on our way from Albrechtsburg and the Cathedral to the Christmas market. Did we have a choice? No, we didn't. So, as the youngest in the round, I was able to quickly climb up the few steps and risk a look inside as a family spy. It is narrow but cozy, small round and also large tables, stylish seating furniture in open space are loosened by small niches. The decoration on the wall recalls the performances of the company, with master letters and awards and many typical industrial utensils. Mutti warned us that she knew for years the reputation and popularity of the Meißner Café. She should be right, it was tight, damn tight with seats. The cafe is situated close to the famous castle Albrechtsburg in an old house. It offers large variety of pastry and cakes. The cafe also has small bar with restricted list of alcohol drinks. The place it particularly specialized in a traditional local pastry, Fummel....The story behind this product is much interesting that the taste of this very plane but unusually shaped pastry. Despite of very good cakes, the coffee was very average. Interior not historical, but still quite cozy, service was proper
Located in the old town, you have to walk uphill a bit to get here. The walk is worth it. They have a very good array of cakes to choose from and they are tasty. There are generations of the Zieger Family that have...been in the business and there are certificates on the wall proving this. Staff were efficient and friendly. Many local customers were in attendance which is always a good indicator of the quality
We took one cappuccino one ice tea self made it was tasty, and strawberry cake and makarons. Makarons was not really good, the cream was not so good. But coffe and strawberry cake was very tasty
