Her father plays piano during lunchtime, creating a lovely atmosphere. You can enjoy your favorite tea brewed and served right at your table, making for a truly relaxing experience. I wish I could visit more often, and I’m planning to do just that! The wonderful staff definitely makes it worth the trip.

I tried Clara J’s Ribbon sandwich, while my husband opted for the crab melt. Both meals were served with crispy chips, an amazing salad, and fresh fruit. I enjoyed the Valentine Tea so much that I ended up purchasing a box from the gift shop to take home. The shop offered a great variety of Harney & Sons teas along with other tea and honey products. They also had a tempting assortment of desserts, and we simply couldn't say no to indulging in one!

Clara J's, on the other hand, is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The dedication and passion behind their impressive selection of teas and thoughtfully crafted menu are evident, showcasing that this truly is a labor of love. Located in a historic house, you’ll often find a pianist serenading guests with lovely melodies on Saturdays. If you're not fond of charm and lean more towards sterile, unremarkable dining experiences, this spot may not be for you. But that’s completely fine, as they tend to be quite busy most days!

They even provided extra garnishes for our serving platters, which was a thoughtful and delightful touch. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted incredible.
