Menu

On this website, you will find the complete menu of Caudwell's Mill Craft Centre from Matlock. Currently, there are 19 meals and drinks available.

Nestled near Chatsworth, this vegetarian café presents a mix of experiences for diners. While the charming setting and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere, many guests have noted the limited vegan options, which could be more varied. The menu features soup, toasties, and hearty salads, though items like filled rolls and jacket potatoes may disappoint those seeking creativity. On the brighter side, the café offers delicious vegan desserts and maintains a comfortable, homely vibe. Overall, it's a delightful stop, especially for vegetarians, yet the desire for a broader vegan selection lingers among visitors.

Was Greg Bailey at Caudwell's Mill Craft Centre a mag?
Dining at the restaurant was incredible, and the portion sizes were quite generous, making it a delight for those who are not vegetarian. The meal was complimentary during our visit, but I would recommend having a guide to explain how things operate. I definitely plan to return. The art studio is stunning, and the sound of the working forge adds a wonderful mix of old-world charm and contemporary atmosphere. View all feedback.

We stopped after a walk to lunch. as others have said, they would hope that a veggie caffe for vegans a bit better. only suppe or toastia with mushroom pate and hummus for vegans. my man had homage as he is a veggie and I decided to a toastia that was good enough and helped through the beautiful salat. would have liked to have had cake, but no vegan option except folding jacket, which is not very exciting. I understand that there are many vegetarians, but with the growing herbal movement it seems strange that a vegetarian caffe no longer vegan options.

Overall the mill is excellent. perfect when you walk in the bakewell opposite. the staff is friendly and helpful and it is great for vegetarians. but let's see that. most people are looking for vegan food today. there was a vegan cake a carrot cake, but we counted 14 who were not vegan and there was suppe and a vegan toastie. if they have more vegan options, then I would be happy to recommend it, it is good if they were one of those old fashion vegetarian styles though! updated by previous review on 2022-03-28

Lovely mill, nice to look around and see how it all works.Brilliant little art shop and flower shop. Great shop where you can buy oats, flour and pizza flour etc all from the mill, brilliant. Then a coffee in the cafe before a lovely stroll down by the water
