What Oney Carv doesn't like about Tasty 68:
Lacks flavor. Orange chicken taste like soy sauce and was completely inedible. Had to throw it away. Never going back. Chicken and broccoli was ok, lacked flavor. Food: 1 Service: 4 View all feedback.
Sad to say they got me for my money a 2nd time. The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But I will never be back. This place is an absolute insult and nobody should have to pay for this quality of food. I ordered “Kung pao shrimp fried rice”. I received disgusting non deveined shrimp smothered in the saltiest, flavorless, thick corn starch slop, and a side of old stale “fried” rice. The peas in it were hard, dry and chalky like they hadn’t been cooked or were old. My partner got sweet sour shrimp, also disgusting inside once we checked if they had been deveined. The sauce was super watery and also left a lot to be desired. In the instructions I asked to add vegetables to the fried rice and when I arrived I was told “I need to talk to you. You asked for vegetables in the fried rice and we cannot do that.” No big deal but it wasn’t the friendliest service either way. Lastly, we order crab wontons and vegetable spring rolls. Both only edible due to being deep fried. Spring rolls bland and super greasy to the point where they tasted almost sweet on the outside. No crab inside the wontons. Luckily we like cream cheese. Nobody goes to a place pays money for lazy food practices. Needless to say, OVERPRICED disgusting.

Came here for lunch and the food was incredible. This was some of the best mapo tofu I’ve had in a long time. The service was very good as well Food: 5 Service: 5
The food here is really good. Sometimes the salt levels seems to vary (by chef, perhaps , but overall always pleasing to eat. The stand out dishes are the Cheng-du dishes (cheng-du chicken, cumin fish and cumin chicken, and chicken with scallions are the best on the menu . The prices have increased 30% over the past couple of years (way beyond inflation . I am hoping they plateau, as it is affecting how often we order. The main issue (why the rating is 4 stars is that for delivery straight from the restaurant (not DoorDash or UberEats , there are A LOT of extra charges (a $20 order averages $4.15 in extra fees, including an admin fee, a bag fee that is 4x the amount of a Maryland bag charge, and one which is called a driver fee . However, the driver doesn 't get that fee (the restaurant pockets it, as I was told by the driver and so you are expected to tip 20% on top of the food cost and fees. On a $20 order, somehow you are expected to pay $28 . The restaurant really needs to drop the driver fee or give it to the driver.
