Found this tapa bar after having enjoyed a couple of beers in the superb Finnegans Irish Pub and what a great find. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, a proper locals bar,a stainless steel serving bar, great decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar, it really was a cool place we visited. We were here on Thursday night ,greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff who took our order of a couple of beers, we opted to have that most Spanish of beers namely Mahou beer and these beers were served in tip top condition being iced cold and sparkling and accompanied with a delicious big bowl of potato crisps, we just chilled out and took in the great tapa bar we were in. My beer was outstandingly good, I really enjoy Mahou beer, this is a delicious light and hoppy unpretentious beer that is really easy to drink and a beer style I particularly enjoy,it's perfect for the hot climate. We really enjoyed our beers in here and although we only stayed for the one beer before we moved on and for a first time visit we were very impressed with this great tapa bar. Davila is really easy to locate on Calle De Fernando VI in the Chueca neighbourhood which is an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination. A great tapa bar and one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area.
