Walmart Supercenter - Mac Arthur

This store is so nice. It's big and roomy. Plenty of room to move around with your buggy. The store is always clean and I usually find whatever I'm looking for.

Pretty new and clean. Has some extra little stores like a bank and a Subway.

This Walmart always seems to stay better stocked than the Beckley Walmart, but some of the prices are a little higher. I like the cleanliness of the store and enjoy shopping here since it has a larger variety.

My mother and I enjoyed our visit to Walmart together. I do however feel more cashiers are needed around the day time hours. Everything was full self checkout and the two cashiers that were open were 5 to 10 persons deep. My mother is feeble on a cane and She had to steady herself on our buggy because there were no motorized chairs when we came in. We did find everything easily and enjoyed the on floor shopping Experience.

The new manager Pat Alton is something else. He has no respect for his employees or vendors. He asked a vendor why they didn’t have any back stock of water. The display was full and that vendor doesn’t do the ordering he just stocks the shelves. Pat’s response was, ‘Might as well give me your paycheck’. They just had inventory and soda shrank out$100k+ His response? ‘All vendors are thieves’. This really the attitude you want? Not to mention his store is never staffed. If you’re a thief this is paradise. You can’t find anyone to mix paint, unlock display cases, check your out or anything.
